Selective Pallet Rack

Selective pallet rack is the most common kind of storage rack in use. Its simple design lets you construct highly configured systems on which you can store large quantities of product on pallets. Although there are many styles of selective pallet rack, several are compatible across brands, and they all provide stable storage space in warehouses or similar facilities.

With selective pallet rack, your pallets are easily accessible and your free space is fully exploited, achieving high cube utilization. Beams and uprights are typically made of cold roll-formed steel, then powder coated, for increased strength and longevity.

There are different variations of selective pallet rack:

  • Single-deep: plain and simple, every pick face has one load bay, so that every pallet is within reach of personnel or forklifts.

  • Double-deep: maximize your storage space by increasing the depth of your rack to support two pallets per pick face.

  • VNA (vary narrow aisle): by using extremely reliable cantilever legs facing the aisle, you can fit racks closer together while still allowing forklifts the ability to maneuver in and out as easily as with single- or double-deep rack. Learn more about cantilever pallet rack here.
